• In the question, the author defined a point "x"
  as a fixed point.  This is also the definition in the math dictionary I
  referred to.  Since the student gave ordered pairs as his answer, rather
  than just the x value, I believe his answer must be considered incorrect.
• The term "fixed point"  is defined in the question.  The student's answer does not fit the form required.  I vote no.
